Obituary for Hazel Banner

Hazel  Banner
Hazel Marie Banner, age 85, Mims, Florida passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at her residence. Hazel was a daughter of the late Guard and Clara Ford Banner of Erwin. She was a U. S. Army Veteran. Hazel had been employed by Star City Glass Company, Morgantown, WV and National Glass Plant of Rhode Island. She was of the Methodist faith. Other than her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by her siblings Mildred Edwards, Clarence Banner, Robert "Bob" Banner and Kenneth Banner.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her daughter, Katrina Rapose of Warwick, Rhode Island; sister, Glenna Rae Ammons and husband, Richard of Titusville, Florida; two grandchildren: Jimmy Rapose and Barbara Jean Robinson; five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P. M. Wednesday, January 17, 2018 in the VA National Cemetery, Mountain Home, with Reverend Tim Tapp officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:50 P. M.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in memory of Hazel to the Alzheimer's Association, 2020 Meadowview Parkway, Suite 100, Kingsport, TN 37660
