Obituary for Lois Ann Bradford

Lois Ann  Bradford
Lois Ann Bradford, age 81, Erwin, passed away Monday, February 12, 2018 at Center on Aging and Health. She was a life-long resident of Unicoi County and a daughter of the late Andy Roscoe and Pearl Hensley Bradford. Mrs. Bradford was a former employee of Unicoi County Memorial Hospital and she was a homemaker. She was a member of Southside Freewill Baptist Church. Mrs. Bradford served the Lord by playing the piano for years at her home church, Mountain Dale Freewill Baptist Church.

Other than her parents, Lois Ann was preceded in death by two brothers: Douglas Bradford in 2009 and Terry Bradford in 2012; one nephew, Nolan Shaun Bradford in 1992; one sister-in-law, Wilma Bradford in 2017.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, two brothers: Scott Bradford, Erwin, Duane Bradford and wife, Tracy, Jonesborough; one sister: Edna Muriel Portilia and husband, Dennis, Tampa, FL; two sisters-in-law: Debbie and Darlene Bradford ; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until the hour of service on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at the Robert Ledford Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Kevin Laws will officiate at the 7:00 P.M. funeral service. Music will be provided Kevin Laws, Darren Higgins and Bobby Ramsey. Pallbearers will be Jack Bradford, Bodhi Bradford, Dwight Harrell, Darren Higgins, Robert Hensley and Michael Hensley. Committal service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday in the Bradford Cemetery. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:30 A.M. Thursday to go in procession to the cemetery.
