Margie Bradley Hardin, age 79, Erwin, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 26, 2018 in the Franklin Woods Community Hospital. She was a native of Yancey County, NC but had lived most of her life in Unicoi County. Margie was a daughter of the late Reece and Ethel Williams Bryant.
She retired from Red Cap where she was employed as a seamstress. Margie attended West Park Street Baptist Church. She was a mother to everyone. She had a green thumb and could really make her flowers grow. Margie was a great cook! She loved her family, grandchildren, and her pets.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Bradley on February 26, 1974; a daughter, Rhonda Bradley Thomas on March 11, 2012; three brothers: Gene Bryant, Ronnie Bryant, and Charles Lee Bryant.
Margie leaves behind to cherish her memories, three daughters: Tracy Bradford and husband, Duane, Jonesborough, Lori Garland, Erwin, Debbie Estep and husband, Jay, Piney Flats; one brother, Marvin Bryant, Unicoi; one sister, Bertie Ann Boyd, Greeneville; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several nieces, and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 1, 2018 in the Robert Ledford Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service will follow in the Bethesda United Methodist Church Cemetery, Lamar Community, Jonesborough. Brother Jeff Autrey will officiate. Grandsons and other family members will serve as pallbearers.
