Bobby Jackson Tittle, age 63, Erwin, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, at his residence. He was a lifelong resident of Erwin and son of Edna Arlene Tittle of Erwin.
Bobby retired from CSX Railroad in May of 2018 where he was employed as a Machine Operator. He began working at the railroad when he was 18 years old.
Bobby was a wonderful dad and papaw, who loved his children and grandson dearly. He earned his Black Belt in Karate. Bobby was a member of the National Rifle Association. He was an avid outdoors-man and loved to go hunting. Bobby was a devoted University of Tennessee fan. He loved to cook and grill.
He loved his dog and best friend, Tucker who went everywhere with him. Bobby had many friends whom he enjoyed hanging out with, and cracking jokes making everyone laugh.
In addition to his beloved mother, Edna Arlene Tittle, he leaves behind to cherish his memory, one son, Kaleb Jackson Tittle, Yorktown, VA; one daughter, Haley Tittle, Erwin; one grandson, Noah Jackson Tittle; numerous friends also survive.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Friday, December 14, 2018 in the Robert Ledford Funeral Home Chapel. Brother Jeff Autrey and Preacher Charlie Foster will officiate at the 7:00 P.M. funeral service. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Committal will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday in the Evergreen Cemetery. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:45 A.M. on Saturday.
