Gordon Robert Keath

Gordon Robert Keath, age 67, of Erwin, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 15, 2024, at his residence. He was born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to the late William Keath and Margaret Leck Keath. Before moving to Erwin three years ago, Gordon lived in Mitchell County, North Carolina for several years.

Gordon was the founder and Executive Director of Project Challenge North Carolina. He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Parish.

In addition to his parents, Gordon is preceded in death by two sisters: Donna Hall and Lynn Morabito; brother-in-law, Mike Hall.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of forty-three years, Donna Riddle Keath; five children: Jason Nicholson, Danielle Bennett, Donna Roy (Eric), Adam Keath (Tessa), and Angelina Keath; twenty-one grandchildren: Ryan Sahl, Nicholas Nicholson, Heather Hamby, Damion Daly, Obidiah Daly, Aiden Daly, Kaia Daly, Penelope Biddix, Michael Keath, Amber Milliken, Autumn Roy, Kylie Roy, Eden Keath, Canan Carlson, Brooklyn Keath, Finley Keath, Jasper Keath, Theodore Keath, Eloise Keath, Luella Keath, and Ruthie Keath; four great grandchildren; one brother, Bruce Keath; two brothers-in-law: James Riddle (Darlene) and Richard Riddle (Monique); two nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 26, 2024 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Parish.
