Roy Lee Clark

Roy Lee Clark, age 58, of Unicoi, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at the Johnson City Medical Center. He lived most of his life in Unicoi and is a son of the late Andrew Clark, Sr. and Mary Lou Gunn Clark.

He was formerly employed at Morrill Motors and the Unicoi County School System where he served as Custodian and Bus Driver.

Roy was talented in custom woodworking, which he enjoyed a great deal. He liked to go hunting and fishing. Roy loved his family and treasured spending time with them.

Roy is survived by his two children: Dalton Clark of Bakersville and Leah McClellan (Josh) of Spruce Pine; two grandchildren: Jonah and Adah McClellan; three brothers: Andrew Clark, Jr., Dwight Clark (Shuo Li), and Troy Clark (Gloria), all of Unicoi; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The Clark family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 24, 2025, at the Unicoi Funeral Home. Pastor G.B. Garland and Pastor David Byrd will officiate the 1:00 p.m. funeral service. Interment will follow in the Clark Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
